Hi, I’m Sara – Your Melbourne Baby Sleep Consultant

Hi, I’m Sara – Your Melbourne Baby Sleep Consultant

Becoming a parent is magical, overwhelming, and sometimes… completely exhausting. I know because I’ve been there.

I’m Sara, a Melbourne-based mum of two beautiful girls — Chloe, 4, and Isabella, 1 — and a certified baby sleep consultant. I’m also a passionate mental health advocate, and my mission is simple: to help parents like you find calm, confidence, and restful nights again.

My Journey to Becoming a Sleep Consultant

When I had my first daughter, I struggled deeply with postnatal depression and anxiety. The sleepless nights didn’t just make me tired — they affected my mental health, my relationships, and my ability to feel like myself. I tried everything I could think of — advice from family, books, Google searches — but nothing seemed to stick.

Through trial, error, and learning from trusted experts, I discovered that gentle, personalised sleep solutions can truly transform a family’s life. Sleep isn’t just about rest for babies — it’s about restoring parental wellbeing, nurturing relationships, and reclaiming a sense of balance for your family.

My own experiences inspired me to train as a certified sleep consultant, so I could help other families navigate the overwhelming world of baby and toddler sleep with guidance that’s supportive, respectful, and tailored to each child’s unique needs.

Who I Work With

I work with families of babies and toddlers aged 0–5 years, offering:

  • Personalised Sleep Plans tailored to your child’s age and personality

  • Gentle Settling Techniques that suit your family’s routine

  • Sleep Environment Assessments to create optimal rest conditions

  • Guidance for newborn preparation and transitions

Every family is unique, and there’s no “one-size-fits-all” approach. My goal is to support you with strategies that work for your child, your parenting style, and your lifestyle — without compromising connection or trust.

Why I’m Passionate About Helping Families

Having gone through postnatal depression and anxiety, I truly understand how vital sleep is — and how lack of it can deeply affect us. I believe every parent deserves:

  • Support without judgment

  • Sleep solutions that feel empowering, not stressful

  • Tools to help children sleep well while preserving attachment and trust

Being a mum myself, I know how exhausting it can be to feel like you’re navigating sleep challenges alone. That’s why I’m here — to guide, cheer, and reassure you that you are doing an amazing job.

Let’s Work Together

Whether you’re dealing with bedtime battles, nap chaos, or just struggling to get a few hours of uninterrupted rest, I’m here to help. Together, we can create gentle, personalised sleep strategies that bring calm and confidence back into your home.
